I like it cause it gives POAs based on my scope's reticle, but my actual shooting results don't compare to the POA the ballistic app gives me.

For example, some bulk 223 ammo that I was shooting was supposed to have a POA of around the 300 yard Bullet drop hash mark on my scope (according to the app). In actuality, I had to aim around the 400 yard bullet drop mark to hit a target at 300 yards.

Any ideas? Actual muzzle velocity, BC, scope height, zero, all these things were accounted for.

That app has Venusian gravity. It reminds me of of Back to the Future -
Dr. Emmett Brown: There's that word again. "Heavy." Why are things so heavy in the future? Is there a problem with the Earth's gravitational pull?

In Soviet Russia, gravity drops you!

There are apps that offer Earth-style physics. Even if you have to spend money , it is cheaper than wasting time and ammo.
