Striker fired choices

Looking for opinions on striker guns. I've shot both an FN509 and Sig 320 for a very few rounds and both felt good . For those who have put a lot more rounds down range what is the better gun?
Longevity? Accuracy? Value for your dollar?
Is there another striker gun you would point someone too?

Glock. I’ve bought them, then sold them, tried other ones, and now I’m back to them. Gen5 fixed my biggest gripe (finger grooves). The other poly/striker gun that impressed me was the PPQ, but support for that one is spotty.
 
There are so many fine options on the market it's hard to say ... on the Glock front, it's utilitarian with lots of parts availability and aftermarket. Don't misjudge how much that really matters. On the other hand there are many really good durable options that have their own merits, including the two you've tried, FN 509 and Sig 320. Get as much hands on as you can before buying. Also you know, consider hammer fired ;p
 
In terms of others, some like the HK SFP9. The Arsenal Stryk B looks great and is well reviewed, but very pricy @ 1400.
Really like the gen 1 Walther PPQ (w paddle release) just didn’t like the threaded barrel and ended up with a P99.
 
I own and regularly shoot the SIG P320 X5, Walther PPQ M2 Navy, Steyr L9A1, and Canik TP9. I have just received in the past week the FN 509 Tactical, Glock 19X and HK SFP 9. I sold a Beretta APX because I found the trigger to be mushy and unpredictable. I sold a basic SIG P320 Gen 2 because the trigger had a long, stacking take-up that I could not shoot accurately without deliberately staging my trigger-stroke. Aside from those 2 exceptions, the triggers are all acceptable. The SIG P320 X5 Trigger stands out as exceptional, as does the SFP 9 and the FN 509. That being said, triggers are a very individual thing and what works for me might not be optimal for you (and vice-versa). The exact same applies to Ergonomics - what feels good in my hand, may not in yours. Durability-wise I don't think there is anything in particular to separate one quality brand from another. Chances are that unless you are into competition, your pistol will outlast you! As far as value for your dollar is concerned, there is no beating the Canik. For ergonomics, you cannot do better than the HK with is 27 possible combinations of Backstrap and Side-Panels. The Steyr has the lowest Bore Height and therefore the least muzzle-rise when firing for noticeably faster follow-up shots. And so it goes, with each individual pistol exhibiting at least one or more endearing qualities in seemingly endless variety. Which is Best? Well, that is entirely a matter of opinion. Which is best for you? Only you can determine that through trial and error, not the opinions of others. Me, I'm still undecided.... which is why I enjoy shooting them all!

Best to do some in store shopping to handle the ones yo are interested in. How they fit your hand and the ergo's of each pistol is a personal preference. There really is no wrong choice if you go with trusted name brands, all will fit the bill for range time. The new S&W M&P 2.0 is a solid duty pistol and the grips are among the best.

Check the weight on the Stryk B, it's a fat pig and has near zero support.

Laugh2 The 320 has an awful trigger with a ton of take up, no real wall and an unknown reset point, which is followed up by more take up. Oh and if it's an older model it isn't drop safe.. The Beretta is absolute garbage. Much the same kind of trigger as the 320 but with more mush.

Let me be the d*ck here. How many here actually know what to look for with regards to grip, or are you simply going off of what "feels good"??:popCorn:

Until you try that two piece bendy crap trigger with the long reset.

OP, don't forget to look at each striker fired gun and understand that some are single action and others are double action.
