I just cannot seem to get my enfield to load reliably when stripper clips are loaded the proper way (three down two up) IE> __---__---__. It seems like the last round's rim ends up behind the second last one almost every time. Strangely enough, when I do them the opposite way (two down three up) ---__---__--- , they seem pretty good. This is the case with both of my enfields.
is there some special trick to how you press on the rounds like an M44 or am I completely inept?
