True but I did thin my front sight out and put a thin white line in the center.
But aren't most red dots abot 4-5moa? that's pretty wide for "pin-point".
They may be a bit faster but an aperture sight like the M14s is quickly centered and very instinctive.
INMHO I don't think it's worth the trade of relying on something that's electronic and sacrificing the ability to use your iron sights.
If you need low light capability, a well mounted flashlight let's you use your'e irons easily even when it's dark.
p.s Mind you I do have perfect vision so for others this may not apply
I guess I'm the fudd in this thread, but the M14 is one of the most perfect,succinct rifles known to man, I'm just offering my opinion, if you want to turn it into a sniper rifle.. fine it'll do it.... but a reddot just seems redundant
