Stripping paint off MDT XRS chassis?

Anyone have experience with this? Want to try my hand at painting my XRS, but beforehand want to make sure I can bring it back to stock without issues should I want to start over or sell it.

Emailed MDT about it, but they didn't have any specifics. Any recommendations?

PlastiDip spray paint... I doubt reg paint will be easy to remove as there is way too course a surface on the panels.

Of course, you can replace the panels and repaint the alum... but then why not buy a whole new stock?

or just paint the stock black...

I never considered being able to bring a rifle "back to stock" as an option once painted. I mean you could just strip it all and paint it back to "black" or re blue the bare metal.

Goof off is very good at removing spray paint from rifles and isn’t harmful to most materials.
