This is said with respect and not as a jab.
But are you really sure? I have heard SO many people claim that their mag only holds 9 rounds when in truth they just arent pushing hard enough.
(Im sure a lot of M&P owners can attest to that)
Basically 90% of the time it is just a stupid tight magazine. (Not saying that its right, i prefer a 10.9 mag rather then a 10)
 
The original magazines spring has one too many dead coils, using a speed loader helps to load round number 10. The spares are a bit better (one dead coil less) I have no problem loading all 10 by hand, and there is a room for another 0.5 round )
