stuck gas checks??

Awhile ago I traded for some reloads to salvage them. Now I'm pulling the cast ones and only half of the gas checks seem to come out, leaving the powder in. I've never used gas checks so I have no idea on how soft/hard they are....Or is it just easier to fire them?
If it matters, 41mag with H110(or so the form says. But it does look like H110)

They're about a 1/3 of the way down, which would be around the 21gr of H110, i think

Poke at the outer edge with a toothpick, that will turn the copper gas check sideways and use surgical forceps or small needle nose pliers to remove the gas check.
Worked for me before.....
