Stuck on what to get..... need some assistance

I'm looking for a new scope for some benchrest shooting at the range between 50 and 100 yds. Looking at the Sightron SII 36x42, Vortex Viper HS 6-24 or maybe a Nikon Monarch 3 6-24x. I currently have a Vortex Diamondback 4-12x but want more magnification to see the holes better. Just want to hear some feedback from owner's of the above scopes. I'm leaning towards the Sightron, however not having access to look through one I'm hesitant on buying one not knowing how clear the glass is. I'm guessing the Viper HS is clearer than the Diamondback. The only one I've looked through was the Monarch, which was sharp but had the bdc reticle.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Looking to spend up to $800.

If you are shooting from the bench only I would suggest the Sightron Sll 36 x 42 or you might consider a Weaver T36.

I have a vortex cross fire ii 6-24 x 50 BDC on my Savage tr. I just bought a sightron sii big sky 6-24x42 for my CZ 452 Varmint. Night and day better glass, so easy to set the AO than the vortex. Both track well.I paid $708 all in for the sightron. I've heard you ca n get a lot of miraging on the straight 36. I also looked through another range members siii 8-32x 56 and saw some miraging.

We've also got the Monarch in Nikoplex, Fine crosshair or Fine crosshair with dot if you're not a fan of the BDC.
