My cousin and I were taking advantage of the cool bug-free weekend to walk a few hunting spots, and we came upon this:
About 20yds away the bush floor was littered with hair and picked over bones, bear and wolf sh!t, and vulture feathers:
We found most of the main bits of a yearling or two-year old male moose. WIthin 20yds of the kill site we found all four legs, the hips/spine, skull and jaw (which we stuck in the crotch of a tree to mark the location. The only bits left with any meat on 'em were the legs below the knee:
