Stunning 6 shot group at 300 y tough to beat this No Scope

I have similar Palma rifle build with single shot Swing action Krieger 30" long 13" twist ss match barrel, Anschutz open peep sights etc etc and out 200+ or so shots fired this year I was able one time to have a lucky group of five shots into 1-5/16" at 300yds in ideal weather. I wonder if I ever have that kind of luck again, usually I am good for double that or slightly less. I say one lucky group like that means nothing.

Means nothing....?
Or means everything. Those are extreme positions to hold.
Your best ever group means everything because its possible and once achieved is easier to repeat if you choose to believe it is possible.

When it comes to high performance for humans the final push to the top is all in the mind. If you believe it enough you can achieve it.
It's easier to believe in something and repeat it once its been done and it doesn't even matter if you are the one who first believed or achieved a new level of performance. The fact that it exists as a result is enough to inspire great things for believers... :)

There are no coincidences and this is an achievable 6 shot group.
Some years ago I took up TR and asked Ian to build me my first custom rifle, for which I was blessed with a great rifle to ensure that I always had to strive to be better (mentally and physically) to meet the level of equipment Ian provided.
If you were to walk into my basement you would see an almost identical rifle and reloading set up!!! No coincidence!!!
I was also fortunate to find mentor(s) that helped me understand the science and the tactics to be able to play the TR game at the highest levels (read World Long Range Championships), and my reloading techniques are the best practices of some of the best F Class shooters in Canada.
All this does not happen overnight, it takes many years of dedication, resilience, and education to become skilled in a sport, and you really need to get into sport science to fully understand what it takes to achieve high performance.
I also coach junior pistol shooters, and have just completed a 2 year part time diploma in high performance coaching at the National Coaching Institute (subjects like physiology, psychology, biomechanics, nutrition, mental management etc), better educated results in higher performance.
I know Oleg is dedicated to being the best he can be, he is investing in himself and his sport, great shooting Oleg, and a great example of high performance, also kudos to Ian.

Okay… I have one question, why a six shot group? Why not a five shot group or a 10 shot group?
My apologies Alex… If this is in fact real, very hard to believe and yes, I would love to see it in real life, just seems so so impossible unless you have superhuman eyes, incredible shooting if it is!!

In TR, your eye needs to focus on the front sight which is about 35 inches away.
The aiming mark which is the black dot in this case 300m away is not in focus, and whatever it appears as, even grey or fuzzy is just centered in the front sight, therefore TR does not require perfect eyesight to shoot good groups.
You just need to know how to use your eyes effectively to maintain the sight picture of the front sight while you steady the rifle to execute the shot.

I wouldnt see the point of comming on here and lying about it all, i believe he made the group and he is backed up by some good standing members. Good shooting.

Absolutely great shooting!

You cant get groups like that from the couch or computer desk!

If it was lucky or not, doesnt matter! 6 shots went super tight. Some of us live for moments like that!

I myself have had a few real gaggers at very long range. I never posted them because there would be too many disbelievers. " BUT, I STILL SHOT THEM!". Others disbelief Doesnt change a thing!

Keep shooting and pushing for your best!

Exactly. Amazing how many shooters are unaware of basic shooting principles outside their immediate experience.
