stupid coyote question

Hunting private property always means knocking on doors.

Here's a link to a five minute skin job. Keep in mind that the coyote must be freshly killed to do this in five minutes. This guy hunts with me every year and I've watched him skin tons of coyotes.

It's a good idea to toss the coyote into a plastic bag, spray with Raid or similar, and leave for 15 minutes. Kills the fleas.:)
 
yes redfrog has a good idea with the raid.I once gave my dogs fleas after i had skinned a fox.they don't stay on humans very long but they are very anoying.around here the furs are worth nothing now because it is getting warm beaver are still good.
If you get any skin them anyways.it is alot better to practice on a worthless hide than on a prime color phase.
Coyote skulls look cool so you might want to try boiling one.(beetles work too).coyote isn't bad eating at all it is a little tougher than an equaly sized domestic dog but tastes about the same.

I think Redfrog's secret marinade is what makes the difference. I can't believe he's gone public with the 15 minute soak in raid that won him so many cooking competitions! :eek:
