why is it that all the 30 round mags for .22 are the ### banana clip style why dont they have the reg AR style ones ??

IMO the banana mags make SWEET looking .22 look sooo BAD . totaly takes away from the gun !
 
.22 cartridges are rimmed and when stacked. like in a magazine, the just form a curve... There's nothing you can do about it. It's the shape of the cartridge...

The "rim" part of rimfire..:)...unless you oversize the entire magazine and make an "inner" magazine, the curve is bound to happen.....;)

why do the mags in the ar15 .22 conversions have alot less slope than the Butler creeks etc....? They must function. Also the mags in the GSG-5 .22 have less slpoe as well than the typical ruger 25 shot mags

You're fine....:cool:......the (basic) truth is, if you load up almost any "modern rimless" :p magazine to a high-enough capacity, you will see it start to curve......:D......:
