Evening everyone,

This is a stupid question i feel i know the answer to, but would like to hear some other opinions.

Found a box of .452" hollow points in a box during a move into a new place. I know 45 ACP/AUTO uses .451" bullets. Would it make a difference running the .452"'s through my 1911?

Thoughts anyone?

Some manuals list .451" for 45 ACP some list .452". This is also the case with different brands of jacketed bullets. Either will work.

With cast lead bullets you usually start .001-.002" larger than jacketed so .452-.453" lead bullets are not uncommon.

Cheers all,

That was exactly my problem. Without looking i believe they were 250gr.
Manual does say .451" thanks everyone for the clarification!
