Okay I do a lot of reading , and enjoy this site. I have a friend who wants out of fire arms, and has a load of reloading gear to off load on me.My problem is I live in a down town apartment, and am aware it would be illegal for me to store pails of gunpowder , and reload within an apartment. My question is to my fellow gunnutz who reload in the city. Are the risks worth it.what are the risks ect.

You only risk becoming a better shot from the extra practice you will get for being able to shoot more for less $$$$.:dancingbanana:

go for it

reloading is safe as long as you are careful. but you will get hooked. as for room in an apartment. when i used to share a house with 3 other buddys, i had to drill holes in buddys coffee table for a place to put my press. he was a bit pissed until i took him to the range and handed him a mini 14 and a couple of full mags. he's married now but still wants to be a gunnut..

It's a lot safer than using a propane bar-be-que, or pouring gasoline into a hot lawn-mower.

Or deep-frying.

If you're a congenital worrier, and you want to rest more easily, just buy one jar at a time. You're not loading for an army, are you?

I'm a beginner, too, only having loaded a couple of thousand rounds. But, I can assure you that handling cooking oil in the kitchen is a lot more hazardous than reloading

Just make sure that before you go to your loading bench, you are rested and sober. And make sure that you clean up completely when you end your session.

Oh, and don't reload over a carpet. Some powder will inevitably land on the floor. How would you remove this powder from a carpet? Vacuum it?
No. Not a good idea.

That 15m B.S. was just talk and it got rejected by the Tories, I think the Libs started it when they were in, but it didn't fly so you're good to go.
