why don't you ask in the thread that MDT started? instead of in the thread that's for people to post pictures of their guns?

You've taken the time to comment on others for asking a question or making a point concerning things that in your mind dilutes this thread. You don't see that as being slightly hypocritical? Are you not contributing to the very thing you claim you wish to avoid by acknowledging it to begin with? LMAO!
It's a grand old tradition here on CGN for threads to go off-topic. I doubt your stern demeanor will persuade anyone from doing so...

Infractions? For what? There was nothing but civil conversation taking place here that you would see in EVERY thread on this site.
Aren't moderators supposed to be semi-impartial or perhaps even somewhat tolerant?
I'm glad you decided to split the thread actually. That way everything in the thread will be on topic. Furthermore, I would like to see this this done for every single thread on this site where there's even a remote deviation from the original poster's opening statement. There, now you've got a full time job...

No doubt it is. If the MDT-21 ends up a commercial success for them, I hope they decide to design and produce other chassis or modular type stocks. You can never have too much choice as a consumer.
There are times when a thread strays from original intent and its ok. Then there are hijacks like done here. The thread was about peoples rifles and pics of them. Not a thread to criticize the manufacturer or speculate on his reasons for pricing. There is a thread started by the manufacturer where those questions can be asked. But even after a warning, some people don't get it. Thread hijacking and trolling result in infractions. I wish we could deal with every thread, but we don't have 100 mods. So only threads we actually notice or participate in get dealt with.
