+++++ STV Scorpio 9MM 124 grs FMJ +++++

I enjoyed reading this reddit thread about it https://www.reddit.com/r/canadaguns/comments/wfoc96/psa_scorpio_9mm_124gr_is_absolutely_trash/

Just great. Maybe if I am lucky I can trade my 2K of rounds of this for a bag of pucks now. Or maybe just the bag.

I think it depends greatly on the gun. I bought 2k rounds as well. Just ran 2 boxes (100) through my Sig P226 SAO. It ran fine: no issues at all. Actually, it's more than fine. I found it to be more accurate in my P226 than CCI Blazer 115gr 9mm Alu. The CCI Blazer Alu was great too. Only 1 FTF in ~2k rounds. I took the chance on the Scorpio as I am running out, and it was on sale. I am very happy I did.

I was at Tenda yesterday and noticed they have dropped the price of these by a buck a box, which is the opposite trajectory of all other plinking ammo which has just gone up in price.

Wouldn't be surprised if they had another "flash sale" to get rid of these at rock bottom prices, given I am sure the feedback that they have received on this.

I had one FTF in a recent batch I put through a Glock. Light strike, which seems to be in line with the claim that they have exceptionally hard primers.

The best training ammo period. Almost every mag has a failure to fire or failure to eject. If you love practicing clearing jams then this is your ammo. More jams than anything else I've ever tried. Lucky for me I bought a lot of it on sale so I will be practing clearing jams for a while. Thanks Tenda!

If you want cheap and reliable this is not it. But it is cheap.

Seriously the primers are hard. What looks like a good primer strike fails to fire. But that being said when I shoot it a second time it always goes off. So in fairness it is reliable when you reload it a second time!

It's more reliable in my M17 than G19X. More failures to eject in the Sig than Glock. Glocks were mostly light primer strikes.

Overall a piss poor shooting experience at the range. Same guns have zero issues with 115 or 124 blazers.

The ammo looks exactly like SB 124gr 9mm. All brass including the lead. It's a nice looking bullet. 👌

When it does go off the accuracy is bad. Real bad. Groups about 50% larger than blazers for me at 25 yards.

MethodTag nailed it. I would just like to confirm that this ammo is garbage. Its in the same category as Maxxtech. You will have a more enjoyable range day if you throw the rounds at your target.

It works for me. Ran it at a match and it performed.

I'm totally open to the idea that I got a bad lot but it seems more like a bad boat load got sent to Canada. I'm 500+ rounds in and still haven't shot a clean box. I am developing a reverse flinch. I literally don't expect the round to fire and I flinch when it does!

Wow it went bang!
