hi folks, i was thinking about picking up a styer pistol, after a little research i found that some of the M9A1 models in canada and us had ejection issues, i see that some of our sponser carry the new L9A1 with some minor changes to design, i am wondering if anyone has any experiences with this newer model and if the problem has been fixed

Long story short: no ejection issues as that problem was fixed long ago. However you may have an approximate 250 round break in period, which may be alleviated by giving the magazines a good cleaning before use.

I sent an e-mail to Steyr Austria, and they sent me a set! They were a pain to install myself, but I think they're worth it - plus they're different and look pretty cool.

I love my Steyr L9A1 and i still looking for a holster.

THEY SENT U A SET for free ?? awesome !!! ya i saw a guy who messed up the sights trying to replace it, what kind of tools did you use ?

I just got a cheapo universal sight slider tool off of Ebay for about $20. They're not great, but if you're careful and patient, it'll work just fine: I didn't damage anything.
