Buddy asked me to put my SU16 in the freezer overnight and see how it runs cold.
Ugh in the meantime...

Anyone in the colder part of the country tried their su16 in the cold weather? Thinking -20 at least.

It's not cold enough yet, but I should get a decent -20 by mid December (Prince George, BC). I'll give my SU16 a try once the weather gets there.

Didn't have an issue with mine when it was snowing but then again on the wet coast thats like -2 weather.
:p
Don't know about placing a rifle in the freazer overnight.

still too warm for a proper test, but my SU16 was flawless this morning at 0 with a 30km/h wind. Will test once we get some decent cold (-20)

It's like +5 here and just went through 40rds.
Functioned fine, except for one stove pipe on the last round. No mag, so the bolt didn't catch.

I was going top go out today and try for you, but it's still not cold enough here.
Half an hour ago at 8pm it was still 60F out there. I think that's somewhere around 16C for you young guys.:D

Yes, in Canada;)

If this video is any indication ,, it should be ok

I plan on using mine for Coyote hunting all winter. ETA late next week ,,can't wait !
