Sub $1000 starter AR

If anyone cares: I ended up with a new colt le6920 Magpul-IRG
I thought about what I was going to eventually do to the rifle; the amount of actual range time it was going to see. And I figured I would rather go a little outside my comfort zone and buy something that was going to run when I needed it with the least amount of tinkering.

Went with DI, carbine length gas, couldn't really find anything rifle length that did it for me.

Really Looked long and hard at the stag offerings from armseast. Still on the fence if I made the right call or not..

Now just need to make time for the range instead of working overtime to make up the extra expense!

Anyone know who has the best price on .223/5.56? And deals on mags? LAR-15?

Nice choice. I can't imagine you'll have cause to regret buying the real deal.
 
what are everyones thoughts on the ruger ar 556 i have one and love it
made alot of upgrades to it though free float ,nickel boron bolt carrier ,daniel defense furniture , gieselle gas block and trigger , still stock buffer but might put a h2 any thoughts

lol i know i could of got a better ar for the money i put in but ive always liked ruger since my 583 target

Legion277, Precision Armament M4-72. Hands down the best brake I have used.
