i'm not sure what you mean.. "shoulder thingy that goes up".. it does fold, and the rotating handguard allows it to fold without taking things off....


Normaly i stay away from plastic guns as well, but this one seems to be fine, yes the finish on polymer parts could be better, but it is very compact, light and easy to clean, not to mention non-restricted.. i just had to have it..

Plus,as it turns out its fun and easy to customize as well..
