Welll, got a brand new SUB2K the other day, field stripped it and cleaned it and had a pretty good shoot.... Except when firing full 10 round factory glock mags the last empty case would not fully eject, and got rammed forward and crushed a bit by the bolt. This only happened on the last round of a fully loaded mag, and no other time during the shoot. About 6 timed this happened, and some full mags went through just fine.

I didnt try just putting 9 rounds in, just wondering if any other owners have experienced this type of FTE.

Cheers.

i would opt for another brand of ammunition. a friend on mine used that brand of ammo with his glock 22 with a 9mm lone wolf barrel (original spring) and it was always jamming, etc.

other ammunition was fine.

I have put wolf,AE,winchester, and reloads through mine with no probs, but i have never been able to put 10 rounds in mag that came with it, 8 max

Never had that happen with either the original included mag or the 10/33 rounders (Non-glock) that I have been using with mine.

I used Remington and American Eagle as well as various handloads (Various cases), all successfully.

Did you check the ejector? I am not an expert, by any means... but if it is always the last round not ejecting properly, my thought is that with the extra pressure of the magazine spring pushing on another cartridge it is properly ejecting, without the extra pressure of the spring it is not being pushed into the ejector properly... and that would leave one to believe that the ejector is the problem. Is it loose? Is it bent?

Sounds like a ####ty mag issue to me. Mark or number your mags, and run it again with 2 rds per mag - and identify the culprits.

This is not an uncommon problem with the SUB2K, Its happening on the last round. The KTOG forum has some good info, this is happening to others as well. Some have just kept shooting and the issue went away after it got broken in, others changed ammo, and others used a different mag follower series or went from single to double stack.

Just hoping to get the root cause pinned down.

it is an issue with the (Gen 4?) Glock magazine. mine does it semi regularly with a variety of ammo. has never happened using KCI magazines (which have a noticably different looking follower) .

Booom !!! thats the feedback I was creeping for. I have a 4 mags, including the one that came with the SUB2K, with the 2183-2 Followers. Can u pit after market followers in the factory glock mags?
