Sub-calibre inserts

Only annoying thing by time you get the longer rifled adapter to you door, its as much as a single shot 22LR. With my gauge mate 2 O rings wasn't enough to keep it from spinning around and I noticed a POI change.

Robert, a couple wraps or less of electrical tape should solve your spinning issue.
I had not heard of GaugeMate before but it looks like they are using stainless steel which is a bonus VS ShortLane's rust prone steel units.

Oh I removed the ejector and added more O rings. The Gaugemate has 4 groves for O rings. Solved the issue. But I didnt like the DA backpacker and sold the whole kit. Landed it was close to 170$ for the 10" adapter.

The GuageMate's look well made that's for sure. Smart machining in extra O-ring slots in case more friction is required.
I don't know if Corwin will bring in more of the 13" Alum framed single shot's but they are way better then the DA singleshot and are quite a bit lighter which is nice for backpacking. Hollow synthetic stock where you can stash smaller adapters and supplies.
The price was reasonable too.

They had an deal 2 for 1 pretty much 7" adapters 99 USD total 129 USD shipped. I wouldn't buy one unless it was rifled. Except they don't make 22LR in 10" ( call it pocket sniper ) 7" model they make a 22LR. Just not sure if the 7" had the duel o ring setup.

I had 2 7" brought in ( 9mm and 45 ACP ), and a 10" 45 ACP.

They were well made. 10" one we were getting about inch and half group at 10m. I was able to hit target pretty good at 100 Y, and 200Y it was within a Target stand distance.

I would want something with rifle sights on it. Bead sights are not the best. But price of a new gun and an adapter, I can buy a brick of 22LR and a single shot.

I looked but didn't see the 7" rifled .22LR adapters. All I could find were the 3" Zombie ones. I'd imagine the 7" would produce better velocities and maybe better accuracy but it would be a bit more cumbersome to carry around in the woods. A typical trade-off I suppose.

And I agree, for the price of these, especially coming across the border, a dedicated .22LR rifle can be had. But that's even harder to carry around in the woods if you're also carrying your shotgun. :)
