Hi guys/girls .. REALLY want one of the 9mm sub-compacts from Questar. Just want some feed back from nutz that already have them. Any info regarding accuracy, problems or complaints would be much appreciated!

:D

Other than the fact that they're probably more fun to carry than to shoot...
Most people doing a 'range session' with them soon find the attributes that make them a great carry/backup piece, mitigate against them being particulary accurate or fun to shoot...i.e. small/short grip, short sight radius, etc.
Personally, I have one of the Questar G19's and love it...small, handy, accurate but still big enough to easily handle...
Just my $0.02 worth....

I've had the 26, the 27 and the 45(can't remember the model). Get the finger extensions for the mags. And like was mentioned, fun to shoot, but would be more fun to carry:dancingbanana:

I had a Glock26 with an extended ported factory Glock barrel, and I shot it more accurately than my Glock17. But of course I had the Pearce grip extentions on the mags, otherwise its just too short to grip. I never could shoot the Glock17 well, I bought and sold 3 times till I finally gave up and bought the Glock 26. Then I decided I wanted a Sig 226 so I sold my Glock26. :(

I also agree with Justin, the sub compacts actually shoot more accurate for me aswell. I think alot of people think they aren't good shooters, than actually shoot them. I was extremely impressed.

very nice .. a resounding YES, GET ONE! from the nutz in the know. I am getting my CCW permit end of the month and have a big motorcycle trip planned to the US in August .. I just wish I had the money to get a subcompact now! I just bought a new OD G17 and I can't shoot it well at all!
Maybe I need to trade it in!!

thanks guys!!

:D

I have an OD Glock29 coming... Ordered it in November 2006, but waiting on the Bartso barrels to be made (both 10mm & .40S&W).

The ETA for my package is March 2007 - What a hell of a wait... I think about it a few times a day. :p

If I were to get a 9mm, I'd get a Glock 19 - Held one the other day and it felt very nice in my hands.

G37 - As I believe I mentioned to you before...this is my dream gun. Please let me know how it works when you finally get it. :) And then, if at any point you decide you can live w/o it, let me know and I will pay you a ridiculous amount of money for it. ;)

Thanks, Jeff/1911.

Heheh... don't worry, Glorious pics will be posted as I've not seen any G29 pics posted by anyone as of yet (in Canada).

Stay tuned... a month away'ish (I hope).
