Guys! lets dedicate this thread to all the great ideas you have on how to modify/beautify the Sub2000 carbine. i know there are very few parts available from kel-tec, but there is so much more that could be done.... I will be getting my Sub some time next week, already have some ideas, i'll share when the time is right.. :)

I have the quad-rail forearm but haven't had timeto put it on yet. Need to extend the butt as it is too short, looking for that next.

Yes I have seen that, just want to know what's doable and wats available on our end.. We do have some differences here in Canada.. Like "red lion" parts are not available, barrel can not be threaded "yet" .. And so on.

I was commenting more towards the guys who took the DIY approach to the things like chopping the hand guard, cutting a place in the bottom for a flashlight, or the guy who used a su-16 upper for a side charging handle.

There's a lot of cheap sh*t hanging off of some of the guy's rifles, but if you filter through, there are some pretty good pieces of work.

Red lion parts are not available? Is it illegal to buy it from Red Lion and import it? I didn't see anything about that on their site, and their shopping cart allows Canada addresses to be entered.

I think the beauty of the Sub2000 is its simplicity.

If I could only change one thing on it, it'd be the front sight housing and post... those are the only things that scream cheap.

Id change the front and rear sight.. I didnt like them thats why I sold it.. that and the stock in the back feels lose..

ok.. i hope i was wrong about Red Lion Precision, maybe they do ship to Canada. i just managed to place an order for a rotating handguard and rails.. will see if it goes through.

Got my Sub2000 this afternoon (Beretta version).
I like it as is... the extra barrel after the sight doesn't look bad.

I was happy it came with one mag as well.
I'll hopefully get it out this weekend.

My sights are junk its impossible to zero them .. my front sight blade windage adjustment is maxed out to the right and its still off like 4 inches at 25 m to the right ! i called vault and talked to a very rude guy and he said they only warranty for function not accuracy, he told me im a bad shooter and if my rifle shoots too far right i have to move my front sight post to the left to correct lol what a moron , what a load of BS my rifle is defective ,, the sub par 2000 is a overpriced POS ,, Its $300 price tag in the US is fair but the Canadian $700 price tag is just insulting for what the rifle is ..

How is the front sight attached to the barrel?
