Someone told me I should try a post here for this info. Anyone have any tried and true loads? I was hoping to use 147gr bullets. Don't know about powders.
Thanks in advance.

For a 147gr.XTP/6.2gr.Blue Dot
158gr(38cal)Castbullet/3gr.Accurate No.2 or 3.2gr.Kemira 310

Depending on what kind of pistol you're using, the 158gr.might or might not cycle properly. All the loads were fired in a Beretta 92FS.

Useful to know what pistol you have as well. Loading the 9MM is akin to loading rifle. The 1:10 twist that most pistols come with is not the best twist for accuracy but works. Depending on the pistol platform you can get replacement barrels with 1:16 twists which is probably a better barrel twist for the 9MM.

I prefer the 124/125 gr bullets personally in the 9MM. Overall I think they are a better option for the 9MM for accuracy.

funny you mention that. I loaded up a pile of 147 grn plated I got a deal on. My xd loves them, and shoots tiny little groups with em. One the other hand the BHP hates em, and the targets look more like a pattern board then a group:redface: . Shot em back to back after I noticed it, guess the HP gets 115's:D
