subsonic

the slowest one and with lightest bullet will also be the quitest ones. Its a trade-off. Say, quietest round will be the most useless.

Remington Subs arent bad. Out of my 10/22 you can hardly hear them. Out of my BVSS II though they are quite loud, I can only assume the longer barrel is just pushing them over the "subsonic" barrier.

CCI CB's are very quiet; the CB Longs are easier on the chambers than the CB Shorts.

Even the quietest loads are usually effective out to at least 50 ft.

Something else to consider is that subsonics with deep hollow-points can be quite impressive...

Etc., etc.

Yep, you honestly can't get any quieter than the CBs. They are just a primer, no powder, and a lead conical ball (CB). No louder than a cap gun, but they won't cycle semi-autos.

Good enough to kill small rodents at up t0 15 or 20 meters.
