Thank you!!
It was built to my specs by Bill Leeper, and is a true gem. The action is early BDL [1985 or so] The stock is a Remington Custom Shop limited run in "Tiger" maple.
Barrel is a 26" McGowan, with a 1-10" twist. Bedded into that stock with trigger at a crisp 2½ lbs. I prefer the 308 Norma Mag over the 300 Win Mag for personal reasons.
Scope is a 3.5x10 Leupold with B&C reticule.
This rifle is very Catholic in it's tastes, shooting several bullets/loads sub-moa, including the 165 and 180 Scirocco II's, the 165, 180 and 200 Partitions, the 165 and 180 AB's and the 168 and 180 TTSX plus the 175 LRX.
I start the 180 Scirocco at 3125 [+ - 10fps]. Sighted 3" high at 100, it is only 25" low at 500, and still retains plenty of "whomp" if needed.
Here's a couple of other pics. Dave.
Here's a 3-shot, 100M group with the 180 TTSX and IMR7828.
