Public land, built by our group, there are several.
Thousands of square kilometers, hundreds of kilometers of old logging roads you'll never see another hunter.

It's a JM marlin ported 1895G guide gun topped with a vintage Redfield tracker 2-7x32 in low rings

Factory ammo, Federal 45-70 Government Hammer Down 300 grain.

Moose was called in to approx 60 yards.

There is a salt lock approx 40 yards from the stand.

US old guys use the stand, nice and comfortable also a short 5 minute walk from the logging road.

Longest shot from this stand is about 150 yards, so I opted for the soft shooting , quick handling Guide gun this year.

As far as photos, just taken randomly to preserve the memory and capture nature's spectacular offerings.

Nice photos and a great hunt for you. Congratulations. Lots of great eating for your group. I’ll bet the 45-70 made trailing very quick.

Congrats on your success! As an Ontario resident with NB connections, I have applied a few times to get a moose tag there but never had my name drawn yet. The only choice for a non-resident seems to be paying $$$ to play.
Also, it is illegal in Ontario to leave behind any type of structure on crown land, so I now wonder about those rues in NB...?
