I'm contemplating a project to throw money at, and I was wondering if there's such a thing as a internal drop floor-plate magazine for the Remington 700 that has a capacity of 10 cartridges of .223 Remington? I know it won't fit into a normal stock, but I was wondering if someone has heard of such a thing.
Yes I am aware that there are plenty of 10 round detachable magazines, but I'm specifically wondering about an internal magazine.

I imagine that in strictly technical terms it should be fairly straightforward to do, requiring a taller internal magazine, and probably a spring cannibalized from a detachable magazine. Again, I am aware that it will not fit into a standard stock, I intend to construct my own stock.

Alternatively, is there anyone who could put together the body for such an internal mag?

Never hear of such a thing. How are you going to integrate an internal box magazine to hold 10 rounds? I guess if you made it like an SKS?

Perhaps, or I was contemplating having the stock be level with the trigger guard in that area, somewhat like a Benelli MR1.

Brownell's have an extended floorplate for the short action 700 that gets a .223 up to 8 or 9 rounds I think...

That's not much extra space required at all, and rather different from what I was contemplating. Excellent.
