Two mondays ago, an accident left me with a :kickInTheNuts:

Thank god my nuts are fine, actually, with a broken left ankle :(:(:(:(

Having to take a break from work...aahh... no problem :D

Having to put up with cruches and requiring help ...aahh...no problem :)

Having people (girlfriend & family) help me with chores..aahh..no problem :D:D

Having my girlfriend come over & pamper me...aahh...no problem :bigHug: :D

Being able to use my foot as an excuse to my benefit..aahh .. no problem :D

Having to cancel all my scheduled IPSC matches for at least the next two months or so (Inc. Qbc. prov.'s) REALLY SUCKS :(:(:(

Any matches coming where all stages are speed shoots ? don't need to move for those. anyone want to host one ? :p

Good luck and have fun to all & see ya'll soon. Hopefully, if heals well & in good time, I'll shoot EESA's level 3 in late Sept.

If still not ready...limp or no limp..I'm going on my moose hunt in mid. October :sniper: after all, no dogging required, I can just hang out in a cozy place, keep my foot elevated & use it as gun rest ;)

Cheers all,

Stavro,
I can help you, I can't shoot well but can run fast,
so pushing a wheelchair shouldn't be a problem.
The only thing you have to do is shoot. ;)

Good Luck

Peter

If match directors will allow that, I'm game, sign me back up :dancingbanana:
just got to find a wheelchair now.

Hey Stravos...you get a wheelchair...rig a holster and mag pouches on it and you can shoot our matches.... but you have to wheel the chair yourself...we will get you down the stairs at Waterford...Oxford is all outdoors... you will be slow but at least you are shooting :sniper::rockOn:

We're gonna wanna see pics of the die-hard shooter if this happens!:dancingbanana:
My father coached a few wheel chair bound hunters and target shooters, said the experience was as good for him as them.
The perseverence needed is incredible for them compareed to us shooters lucky enough to have all appendages in working order!

Don't despair!
If you do as well as one of our boys (Clear-Cut) did with a broken foot and crutches, you'll have an adult and two calves down within an hour of the first day of the hunt.:dancingbanana:
And the rest of us had to do all the work while he supervised.

That would be sweeeeeet .

Re: wheelchair, realistically, if it was a long term or permanent situation (thank god it's not) I would set it up, but for 2 months or so, I'll make do.

Storm, i'be been meaning to try my win mag at. 300 yards, can I come up your way one afternoon and shoot there ?
