Sudbury, Ontario Area +Deer Hunting

looking at a property just south of Sudbury, wondering what the deer hunting is like, or is it mostly a moose area?
Not going to make or break the deal one way or the other, just curious, figure there must be someone from that area on here that would know.

Wanna narrow it down a bit... the deer have really expanded in WMU 42 and also in 39 and 41... depending on your specific location it could be poor to very good... should be decent for moose and bear also... could give you a good projection if I new the exact location... I may have walked across it at one time or another...

Half hour south, puts you around French River... the deer hunting is pretty good... as is moose and bear. There is good walleye and bass fishing as well as pike and muskie... walleye limit is two though. It is a nice area, with good waterfowl hunting also.
 
A lot of deer hunters in the Sudbury area have connections and permission to hunt on Manitoulin, which seems to be the preferred local deer hunting area. I hunt deer near Parry Sound, but regularly come across deer and moose tracks while bird hunting around Sudbury. I also see the occasional moose while out doing so with my daughter and or nephew.
 
I would hunt in my backyard if I could draw a tag... as it is, I drive 12 hours to where I can get a tag... just wave at all the smiling moose on my journey North...
