I wouldnt normally post a target, cos frankly I shoot for fun and coffee. But if anyone needs convincing that ammo loads are a big part of this game check out what happened to me on Monday. Ive read a lot about the ammo thingand Hungry said the same thing, so I started to use different off the shelf loads and what a difference.
200 yd target (reused several times, Scottish genes ) with 140 federal and 150 Remington.
The 150's climb but thats down to me.My best before this was now and then a 4 inch group. I cant wait to start making my own loads now.
6x24-50 scope and a bipod, oh, and a 305
Costs a bit more but the results speak for themselves
The 150 groups were taken back to back last groups of the day, 28 degrees 0 wind. Its taken me nearly four months to do this and yep, Im smilin from ear to ear.
