Suggest a SKS Tactical Stock

I have one of my SKS in a Tapco Intrafuse stock. The fit is very tight. And as mentioned above, the pistol grip has to be unscrewed to strip the rifle. I just can't seem to be able to depress the pin through the pistol grip, in part no doubt because the fit is tight. The only thing that I do not like is the scope mount over the gas tube. It blocks out the lower portion of the front post. Since I have no intention of ever mounting a scout style forward scope, I will likely end up cutting it off... Other than that, it is a pretty good replacement stock for the price. I suggest that you buy the model with the bayonet slot cutout. That way, no modifications to the rifle are required, especially if you buy a replacement gas tube.

if you want a folding stock then choate sks folder is the strongest one (among the folders). The folding mechanism is all metal and is built like a tank. The plastic on the other hand is not as strong as archangel's but it is adequate.

+1 for the Tapco Intrafuse. Had it for 5+ years without issue. Mine is in dark earth which does get dirty over time from handling. Just recently picked up a 5/20 Tapco mag to go with it and it works great.
