Just starting to trow some loads together for this round and heard TiteGroup Hodgdon works well .
Plan on using 5.o gr to start with wolf Wadcutters semi, 200 grain.
Anyone ever try a load like this one, how did it work for you?

I did a bunch of loads with Excel LSWC's and West Coast plated SWC's using titegroup.

5 grains worked well and gave me an average of 883 fps with the LSWC and 880 fps with the plated SWC's. I ended up using 4.8 grains as my regular load and got 856 fps with lead and 839 with plated.

My gun shot the lead fine, but didn't like the plated, they would regularly fail to feed.
Hope this helps.

Nope. I'm using a Lymann 55 with a baffle. I put a strip of fabric softener sheet in the hopper to take care of the static cling.

HUmm I have the lymann as well and it just does not want to drop it right?? However I do not have a baffle for it, nor do I use fabric sheet, good advice thank you.

I will try to adapt something to work just seems off by alot!
I thought the flakes may be 2 big for the slots at that low of slot?
I am not loading on a progressive press and just droping with my normal rifle lymann droper.
I have tried so many times at this low grains and is not working for me.

I'm not using a progressive either.
Which adjustment are you using? One is meant for big drops as found in rifle calibres and the other for pistol and other small drop applications.
Is your 55 new? If so it will take a bit for it to be "lubed" properly by the graphite coating on the powder.

You can speed this up by either coating the working parts with some powdered graphite or filling the hopper with powder and cycle it through a couple of times.

Before I put the baffle in it would be inconsistant after half of the hopper was used due to the powder bridging. The baffle took care of that. Repete has a 55 and has a modification done to it (forget what it was) and he reports that it works with no problems.

I am using Titegroup right now for my 45acp and 40sw, thats right there is inconsistency with the charge using my Dillon550b. Planning to go back to 231. started loading with n320, the only problem it is very costly, unless you have some suggestion

ffgats I am finding the same thing because of the powder flakes. I set the drop at 4.8 and get drops that range 4.5 to 5.4 thats to far to be safe in this game. I am not comfortable so I, cam up with a slower method but safe and fast I added a #### to the botton of my 5.0 lee scoper and made it a 4.7, every level scoop now measures with titegroup 4.6 to 4.8 is good and mostly safe. But slow!
