Suggestion for scope mounts for a Sako

I'm mounting a leupold vx3 2.5-8x36 on a vl63 and wonder what mounts you recommend for a low, sleek fit. The rifle came with medium optilocks which are too high.

Sako does have Optilock rings that dont require a base as does Leupold. My first Sako had Optilocks but after that I went with the Optilock rings that didnt need the base with the next few SAkos and really prefered them. Leupold were also very good and much cheaper in price, but they didnt have the plastic inserts which the Optilock rings have to protect the scope tube from getting marked up

Thank you. Where can I find the low, or better yet extra low Sako optilock rings in1" with sleeves? The scope is gloss to match the production period of the Finwolf.

So you are looking for scope mounts for a Sako Finnwolf.??? That may elicit a different answer...does it have the tapered dovetails?
