Suggestions - Factory lightweight in 300WM

I bought a A7 Roughtech in 270 Win. It didn't like the factory ammo I fed it. Nor my first batch of 130gr handloads. But now its seems to shoot 150 gr Bergers and 140 gr Sierra HPBT really well with a ~57 gr of that D4350SC ~ 3000/3100 fps . The triggers are good. The Roughtech stock is also quite good. The recoil pad fits poorly.

A friend of mine has the A7 stainless synthetic in 300 WM like yours. It shoots well but like Tod Bartel mentioned the bullets are seated very deep to accommodate the short magazine. I didn't have this issue with my 270 Win. The 300 win mag version limits your seating depth when handloading. His shoots 180 SST's behind IMR 4831.

Good rifles for the money. Sako was blowing out the discontinued A7's lately. Bashaw Sports had the Roughtechs for $1130 and the stainless A7's for $1000. Other retailers had similar pricing as well.

One of the reasons I am going to first try the Sciroccos as they are prone to shooting well with large jumps.Might be a challenge though to get sufficient powder in without a majorly compressed load.

Guess, first thing is first, find the lands as soon as it arrives and go from there.
