I'm sick and tired of playing around with right handed stuff, so I've decided to go out and buy something in a left handed model.
The problem is I dont know what to get, I'm more favourable to semi auto pistols, but advise on revolvers would also be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help. :)

P.S. if you have any leads on left handed guns please let me know.

HK USP Expert - Fully ambidextrous, except for the slide release. But, the slide release can be easily manipulated with the index finger on the left hand.

CZ 85Combat - Fully ambidextrous, including slide release.

I'm a lefty, when I started shooting I was also looking for left hand stuff.....but with practice I can handle a R/H pistol pretty well...... shooting IPSC.

Amby safety is the only must, the mag release is also available for lefthand (I don't use them).....well some shooters on BE forums actually are buying lefthand one so they can release the mag's with the trigger finger, I think it's a advantage since I don't have to shift the grip of my gun in my hand in orther to releasing it, if I was a R/H shooter I would have to shift my grip in order to release the mag's not the most desired thing to do.....but again with practice anybody can do it pretty effeciently.

My HK mag release is ambi, so I use my trigger finger to release the mag. HK' can be ordered specifically for Left hand shooters. Check out the HK website, and the Variants.

I'm also a leftie & while I appreciate 'ambi' safeties on a pistol I don't mind the mag release in the standard position. 'Course I only own right handed bolt rifles, too.

Lefty guns

In my opinion these are the best guns for lefties. in order of preference.

1 HK USP, obviously in variant 2, mag release is lightning fast.
2 S&W semi autos
3 1911 with ambi of course
4 Glocks

Beretta's, CZ85's and other guns not listed, may also be good choices , but I haven't spent enough time and/or haven't tried them. Sig's don't work for me, but other lefties do like them. In revolvers, they all work fine for a lefty.

The 85 Combat is fully ambidextrous EXCEPT for the mag release button, even though I enjoyed shooting it in IPSC Production all my other handguns had been switched over to right hand mag release so I could use my trigger finger without shifting my grip (STI, CZ Tactical Sport, Baby Eagle, SP01)

Thanx For The Help

Let's not forget the Springfield XD9 and XD40...ambi mag release and ambi trigger. ;)
Oh..and the mag release on a Beretta 92/96 can be swapped over to the other side as well.
