Summer Slam V, Dalhousie, New Brunswick

I
I loved how we shoot in two days but dont have to work like in the Nats

Come again?
How exactly did you shoot this match and not work?
In my squad aside from the CRO provided by the Match (who also shot with us) we all worked the match in our squad.

If you were an RO you RO'd your squad. If you were not an RO you set and patched the targets.

I agree it is nice not to have to have a separate "work shift" but the work still has to get done.

BTW>........next year I AM BEATING YOU!!!! LOL

Oh as to 7.62s pics.

MY POOR POOR CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Luck on that !! :)

I meant having to work a whole day, not while shooting..of course during shooting we all helped...that's how we got in 10 stages on day 1, including delays at start....

re: beating me next year....Good Luck on that one !! :D:p:D ... oh,maybe if I get dq'd you'll beat me... :p

Again, glad you're all safe.. Happy Birthday week....is your car really totalled or will be fixed ? I've been looking at the hyundai sante fe.. great reviews, great on gas with new trany in 2010..and low insurance cost....

cheers...

Colt45 and our whole squad was simply the best. We worked together and we have finnished first and after that some of us went on to help other squads.

Oh yes Colt did come out and help us out as well................which is why I knew that he had indeed worked.

gone above and beyond.

Heck on our last stage at one point I think he was the ONLY one patching!!

We all love the quebec guys, but Holy Lazy #@*@*#...they were last to finish and not patching and helping each other....TABARNACK :p

Interesting... Did you hit the activator after unload and show clear?

No,..He just wanted me to holster,...so I decocked,..holstered,...and walked down. The previous run I did the same thing,..and told him I would do that (activate it after),...he said not necessary and had me unload and show clear. Someone complained and said I had to reshoot.

It would have to be BEFORE the ULSC to count.

yep,...I agree,...but when the RO tells you to unload and show clear, even after I offered to go back and hit the activator,...then what?:stirthepot2: But,..it helped me shave off 1.5seconds and get better hits. I did not agree, and I was told it was ok from one RO, and then not ok from another. The only risk was if I dropped the gun or broke 90 on the way back. I made solid hits on the mover by shooting it this way, but saw countless others get misses and D's. I took aimed shots,..instead of shooting the moving targets to see how fast I could hose the targets. Lots of Open shooters missed. INstead of hitting the activator and getting into position to shoot it while it raced across and narrow area, I ran up and shot the target down the hatch, and then shot 2 A, A-C( I believe) from 1 shooting position. It was about the same time IMHO. Production you need lots of A's. ;)

Oh I am not questioning your strategy.........as I did the same thing.

I just hit the activator on the way to the engine hatch and then ignored it while shooting the one in the hatchway.

Ya had to reshoot anyway the slider do not activate in the video. "range equipment failure"...good run thou.

Acivated the plate was what I was told. There was no reshoot after this....this was my 3rd reshoot. First one the activator went off due to my jumping on the boat. 2nd run I was not permitted to go back and hit it. 3rd run was kept. DId not give me any advantage on the 2nd run or 3rd run,..regardless of what the targets did after I activate the plate.

I did hit the activator on my way in and shoot targets in a static position... My time was the same as yours before I backpedaled downstairs to shoot two targets on the left board, making BMW jump off the roof behind my back... I wish we had that on a video, but my camera was nearly dying. :(

I just got to the top of the stairs (after you shot so not to rock the boat) and was about to give the command "if your finish....." and all I heard was " oh F**K" and you turn. b: :runaway: It was one of those split second moments.....go over board or find a path to stay out of your way and behind the muzzle. Good thing I'm still a bit flexible in my old age.... :ninja: :p

My huge respect. You are the man!
