OH Just to let everyone know , Jon G. in sore but Not a bone broken or nothing torn, he will be on crutches for a few weeks , But would like to THANK EVERYONE THAT HELPED and you all know who you are. Also all the messages of concern about him again ,THANKS EVERYONE and will be back soon !!!!!!!
 
JPD continues to just dominate. Looking forward to Greece and hopefully shooting with him.
Match looks like it was a ton of fun, really really wish I could have been there. This working for a living sucks balls.
 
I better be there in 2013 and maybe next year too (if there is another one next year). Hell my ammo is already sitting with Mo.

Glad to hear John wasn't injured too bad and is healing. Get well soon John.

Thanks to all that made this match happen again !! Especially those few older gents doing most of the hard labour !! that whole club has spirit and great folks in general out there.
I'm in for this match every year that you'll keep having them.
If you're not tearing down for a while, can I come back next weekend and shoot them all again ? :D

I have a better video that I'll be uploading later today. It's shorter but with more action, cool music and better shooters. :p Feel free to post, embed or link to it anywhere that it might help to give IPSC and Summer Slam more exposure. :)

I'll post a link to it in this thread as soon as it's available.

As Mo said, I have lots of videos. I didn't get video of everyone shooting, but I did get video of every stage that was there. Would anyone like me to post them all up or would that be a waste of time and bandwidth? If I did, it would be one long (mostly un-edited) video of all the stages in order. You'd see several of the stages more than once as different shooters go through them.

It would be long but I can make it as "watchable" as possible by putting in some up-beat music.

If there's enough demand for this, I don't mind doing it. Some suggestions for music would be cool though.
 
Matt, for the purpose of IPSC Stats web site I've been uploading my videos one video per stage for each competitor. It helps to put names to faces. Then you can also create a playlist on youtube to get those videos together.

If you haven't checked the IPSC Stats yet, you may have missed a lot. Especially if you are planning to shot IPSC more or less regularly. :)
 
The match was simply fantastic. mmatt's photos show the overview of the stage layouts very well but one doesn't really get the true sense of the stages until you get up close and start realizing how many different ways there are to shoot them. There was some VERY creative thinking here, and just an insane amount of work.

From what I had heard I was expecting some fun stages, but I'm starting to realize that with these NB guys you can't go in with any preconceived notions.

The 2013 Nationals are going to be VERY interesting indeed and with even more range improvements pending to the Restigouche range facility, one can only imagine what they will have in store for us.
