Sunday Hunting Sask

It may be a little crowded around the larger centers but there are a pile less hunters than there was 10 years ago so no to worry.

Another thing I learned that if you get out of the truck and walk even a quarter mile back into the bush you leave 90% of the hunters behind. The only peole I saw hunting this year other than a few people I know were old guys in trucks driving roads and fields. When you see a guy with spotless clothes he either has a force field around him or doesn't get out of the truck.

BTW no insult to old guys because I belong to that group as well.

AS for Sunday hunting. ITS ABOUT BLOODY TIME ! RIGHT FREAKIN ON !!!!!!

Wow!!:eek: I am okay with Sunday hunting. Don't paint us small town boys all with the same brush please. We don't all rush off to church or sit around on the porch all day eating watermelons every Sunday. The rural people don't seem to have any difficulty putting on "quad rallys" that cause more ruckus and noise, and pi$$ off more farmers than a few hunters. As said above, walk into the bush a ways and listen to how quiet it is.

I think the fact that we did get rid of the socialist government (finally) has had more positive effect on Sunday hunting than anything else. There were a way too many anti-gun and anti-hunting MLA's before.

Go for it!!!:p:p

That is not a fair statement to make. The group has done what they could and they have used the what about the kids angle.

Be happy that this has finally happened.

I don't know what is unfair about my statement. Many years ago SERM stated that they had no problem with Sunday hunting, but when SWF voted on it the motion lost by something like 52 % against, 48% for. SERM went with that. I've been a member for about 25 years, but I don't agree with everything they come up with.

Sunday hunting for upland and migratory is allowed in Manitoba right now. We hunt on a lot of hutterite owned land. They are great people and give hunting permission without any problems.

The only words of wisdom I have for my western Saskatchewan neighbours is our Sunday morning goose hunts do not take place around any colonies for fear of making them upset with us for not respecting the Sabbath.

Sunday hunting is being implimented for big game also in Manitoba this year province wide. It was restricted to outfitting areas previously.
