Sunday morning duck hunt

It was all over in 60 seconds at 7.02. 5 Wood Ducks decided to land in front of me after I called for a nearby Mallard. I shot 4 out of 5, with 2 of them only wounded. I keep a 4th round (tungsten 6) in my hand for just such occaisions. The wounded ones needed 2 shots a piece while Scotch did his retreives.

You don't need a cammo gun to shoot waterfowl! A good Beretta 391 Gold Optima works well. Note how dirty the action is. I have not cleanned the gun since I got it some 4 years ago!

Sounds like a good hunt. Unfortunately not all kills can be clean atlest you did the ethical thing and fired finishing shots.Good on you and Congrats.
