I have reviewed all the photos available on the SA Kuva archive website (sa-kuva.fi); compiling a photo album of any SVT 40, AVS 36 or SVT 38 I could find being used by Finns during the Winter War and the Continuation War. If people are interested, I can keep posting the photos I have found. I have a couple of hundred photos. Hopefully, they are not too large.

Didn't a Finn Capture Podolsk go for ridiculous money at auction? I'm assuming this is why you posted...

Actually reading the thread again, I believe it was a non-refurb original...

No. My late grandfather fought in both wars. During one of his visits to Canada in the early 80s, he gave me a bayonet. I was just a young boy at that time and unfortunately never got the story of how it came into his hands. Thanks to the internet, I researched the bayonet and found out it was for an SVT 40. I have been fascinated with the rifle since. So I guess it would be more of an homage to him.
