Have any of you guys had problems with it? I was shooting it and the firing pin spring let go out of the carrier. The local dealer replaced the carrier. Now for some reason when shooting it the safety works it's way on. I thought it was my home rolled. I bought some 115gr Sellior Belliot and still the same. I can't see the dealer creating the issue. If i take it back it will take months for it to get fixed. It might be a small problem that you guy have experienced. I know the gun ways a ton and trigger pull is heavy, But I like it. This is the only WWII sub machine gun I can own. With out a Prohip status. This is not a complaint, just want some help or advice The gun is new with a 100 rounds through it Thanks age

No need for help. FCK me I had a close look it and the welds have let go on the reciver were the barrel locks on. Now wait for replacement.

I had many issues with mine.. including the broken welds. where to start:
- the charging handle was pusing on the bolt and would only function if the trigger group screw was loose, it fell apart on first shoot. (had to file down the end about 1.5MM!!!)
- magizene did not seat (had to grind down reciever before even using it once)
- Jamm on evey other round ( had to polish out the feed groove into barrel and the magizene)
- broken weld...... re weld all the way around because i knew if i got a new one down the road it would just break again. did this on both sections and refinished with durakote.

I love this gun but be warned there are some serious QC issues.

I heard this firearm was a POS. A couple gunnutz even warned me against buying one when I was inquiring on a sponsor's forum about one. Glad I didn't buy.

Makes me wonder how the othe tnw firearms are gonna hold up??

Scary to think some people paid $5299 for a TNW. I guess well find out.

My Suomi isn't as bad as others. Only problem I had was with the feed ramp. But some polishing fixed that issue.

I would reccomed to every kp31 owner to not apply alot of force to the barrel because they have a weak point there. Mine broke off after tying to adjust the front sight. there are only 2 small welds holding alot of weight. If i get time ill take a pic of how i welded mine.

Are the dealers standing behind the gun? Or are some people having a hard time having them fixed or replaced?

I bought mine from SFRC and they completely ignored my emails when the trigger needed replacing after only the second outting to the range. Talked to the guys at North Dyslva and they were great to deal with. I wouldn't buy something from SFRC ever again.

i got my suomi from wanstalls. i wanted to clean and oil it before i fired it and noticed that the barrel was loose and could not be tightend in anyway. i took it back and wanstalls didnt even ask if i got it from them. just packed it up and sent it off for warranty (good place to shop at. IMO) the sad part is, it is going to take 3 months to get it back and i never got to fire it once.

North Sivla is the importer.

I had a problem with the hammer springs being weak so it wouldn't fire at all TWN sent the springs in the mail and it took 3 days to get the part I was supprized it was so fast as mail is normally alot slower.

When it would fire it just would go click and the pin wouldnt move.

Exactly why I didn't buy one. I researched it and saw nothing but people having issues. Bought an 858 instead and do not at all regret it.

I part traded it for another gun. More money but you get what you pay for, made in Canada non restricted etc etc.
