Correct me if im wrong but didn't Remington produce an 870 with a factory 6 round mag tube? Technically that gun wouldn't work with other 870 barrels either...i mean if you just call this Chinese thing a clone of that we can all just move on lol.

yeah pretty sure it was the police model or something like that, came with a 6 round tube and a futher forward barrel lug and its barrels weren't interchangeable with standard 870's

Exactly, this is a great deal at any rate people love to get bogged down in semantics for some reason.

Are there any closeup pictures of the receiver? I read the norinco hawks had "war" on one side and "peace" on the other. I think thats corny and hope these guns dont have that.

Yes I have several, many fit with no issue others may need the most minor of fitting, so easy anyone can handle it. I’m PM a link to fitting 870 accessories to the grizzly, great for new gun owners.

I have two of them in my safe. They are remarkably robust and reliable for their price point. My only complaint would be the overall weight of them (they are built like tanks). I've never had mine jam and I don't baby them. My favourite is the 8.5" version with Hogue 12" stock. Modded it to hold another round in the magazine (3+1).
