How is the load development going ? I’m curious what brass you’re using ? I’m trying to decided what to use in my LH Tikka barrel chambered in 6.5x55

il answer-
i just got in contact with a guy about 3 die set, fls, seat an crimp, posted for $88.... so that will kick start reloading.

ive got 1 factory Sellior Bellot left, an will then have 20 SB brass... its shiney an looks good, chambers cut nice an no oddities ... seems the going rate is $1 per brass but ive put a feeler out for X30 brass for a Cap of mine lol.. the problem is any followers unlikely have 762 brass, bar one....hook is set.

i decided 4198 will be my go and 150gr flavour for now-- but il keep scouting for a 130gr SP variety when they come about.

For me, if I scope mine I'm going to go with some nice and light. Maybe a 2-7 bushnell elite?
 
Congrats on your lefty Zastavas... I made the mistake of selling mine a handful of years ago, also in 6.5x55. I don't have photos, but I just snagged my second Steyr Model M left handed in .30-06. One is a full stock, and one is a half stock as per Steyr's marketing/verbiage. Hard to beat classic European guns with iron sights!

i was in a panic for a moment when i unboxed , what was said to be a nikon prostaff 4-12 or 3-12 he wasnt sure...

im in a frantic thinking What to put this on!? proberly a bit much for the kimber but well suited to the 708.. the 3006 shorty has the 2-7 on it, which i invisioned goin on the 762... to ugpgrade into leapold 2.5-8 gang..

then its a good scope for the .222 really.......... but the current scope on that Sako A1 is a pos nikko sterling... in future will go from 55gr now not shootin deer, down to 40-45 an flatten it out, cos its a bit average for fox at moment past 150. so the 3-12 will suit a faster varminter/pest gun

trying to sell a vortex tactical dial scope, which will proberly fund something for the 06 or 708

i quite liked the "300 blk" reticle on a nikko i seen instore for if one was kept to 200m,... but being for my son i will not go past a simple Duplex for starting. :)
so making do with this for now
