SUPER PISSED At Trijicon Right Now

Did you check the battery spring? I've encountered a similar problem when the spring was too compressed and made intermittent contact with the battery. A good tug with a pair of needle nose did the trick.

Sorry to hear that you got a lemon but the only issue I had with Trijicon is failure of tritium lamps and they replaced them for me. Mind you, it took the better part of ten (10) months though.

go with the RMR dual illumination type, no batteries to worry about EVER. fiber and tritium.

just a thought, fiber is good for yah, batteries are bad.

I sent a Eotech 553 back to Police Ordnance because they claimed they could get it across the border and back under warranty. Well, it went over the border, but never came back. Police Ordnance then told me to take a hike. And just like that I was out a couple hundred bucks.. #######s

I was reading about a faliure like this on another forum. What kind of mount and what kind of gun is it on. The guys were saying that sometimes the battery mounts contact the bottom of the sight and then the mount under recoil. Apparently a piece of tape under the sight when mounting solves this problem.

EoTech FTW lol.

I really love these optics. What went wrong with yours?

I'm starting to believe this to be either all of, or a large part of my problem.

I took the sight off, replaced the battery and reinstalled the sight onto the base. It works fine now. I've beat it with my hand, cycled the bolt a couple hundred times and so on and I can't get the dot to shut off.

I'll take it out and shoot it again, just to make sure, but I really hope that's all I had to do to fix this problem.
