Phew I thought I was bad again unknowingly. Just to add two of the site sponsored dealers I spoke to that day also would match the listed sales price for those calipers. Unfortunately we were looking for a 223.

They failed to mention $50 S+H charges but still $100 under most places...........Harold

It actually $75....

There are a couple of places offering them for $299, so in the end it works out to be about the same price.

Personally, I think the $50 +/or $75 S&H charges are complete BS.

'Course one doesn't have to buy if one doesn't want to. But what a load of crap. :p

Pffttt!!! No, pick me, pick me! I want to be shafted by 75$ shipping charges!

Since 100% of the long guns guns we buy here are shipped in I keep a close eye on what is actually charged vs what I paid. The most I have seen was 42.00 and that was with 8.00 for insurance the cheepest 19.80.
75.00 is nuts
Here is one I have just discovered I can save 8.00 plus by shipping in a short remington or browning box vs say a savage box etc. Don't know if the cut off is 36" but it seems over that for length there is a over sized charge added.
It maybe total girth also but now especially shotguns I make sure i get a short box. Makes a difference if you are a guy shipping al lot of guns.

Even at $50 S+H and GST they come in $100 less than WSS Calgary...........BS yes cheaper still.................Harold

The OP referred to an advertisement placed in Canadian Access to Firearms (a monthly newspaper) by the retailer Dante Sports of (Montreal).

Canadian Gun Nutz is a great resource, but it isn't the only resource. Unless you subscribe to Canadian Access, I can guarantee that you are missing out on some of the best firearms deals available in the country.

If you visit the Canadian Access website you can request a free trial issue. If you visit the Dante website and select the Click here to view our December Specials!, you'll then be able to see a PDF of that same ad.

Neither Canadian Access nor Dante are financial supporters of CGN, so NO HOTLINKING!
