Hey guys, whats your opinion on the Super Sniper 16x42 30mm Rifle Scope?

I've read some really good reviews on this scope. is 16 power to much for the range? is 10 enough for the range?.. what your views..

this scope is listed on SWFA's website for 299$ But theres no way I can get it shipped to Canada, and theres no way I can pay for it... anyways ever buy from this website?..

I also have one of the 16x on my 700 SPS Tactical in 308 and I could not be happier with it. Great scope for the money and I also got it from a CGN member.

I've got the x16 on a 300 wm and I'm not too happy : looks like it's never in focus :confused: Kind of hard to explain but it seems that I always have to focus with my eye. I don't have this problem with other scopes.
The pb stops at 1000m due to mirage:rolleyes:

Just bought a Falcon scope from cyberK last week. Simply put, I love it!

CyberK is a great guy to deal with.....he will go out of his way to make things right and in this day in age, that is something hard to come by!

The Super Sniper scopes are nice, but why would you send your money to somebody who won't even talk to you, let alone give you any kind of customer service!!?? They have made it pretty clear that they do not want Canadian business, why support their company?

For a scope (which has been compared to be as good if not better than the SS) consider the Falcon, and have the comfort of knowing CyberK stands behind the product.

Buy the SS and you better cross your fingers you don't have trouble or get a sh**ty one!
 
As a former lover and shooter with/of Super Sniper scopes sold by SWFA.... I've had a great time with the Super Snipers and I've got nothing bad to say about them. :evil:

Now moving on.... I'm leaning to buy a Falcon Merlin from CyberK on the board since the Falcon Optics scopes are getting great reviews from South of the border. People are catching on that there is an alternative to the great Super Sniper scopes that SWFA will not sell to us.

I quite like that price point and I believe that the Falcon Merlin line will fill that niche quite nicely.

CyberK is a great dealer to buy from, too.

I sent a canadian money order and had it shipped to an address in the states for pickup. :) Menace scopes are great untill they break.

If a Menace scope breaks, there is a well regarded dealer in Canada to take care of you.

If the SS breaks, what do you do? Smuggle it back into the US for repair, and then smuggle it back out again?

Smuggling gun parts out of the US might be great... until you get caught.
That's a chance I'm personally not willing to take, I can't do the time, so I won't do the crime.
