I just purchased one but haven't had the chance to get to the range yet. Can I ask where you heard about the bedding issue? Was it a written article or something shared in a discussion?

I have one in 338 Lapua, I traded a guy here a 300 wsm I had in the safe for it. He had never fired it.

It shoots the factory Norma Golden Target ammo into 3/4" at 100 yards. The Hornady stuff I tried shot about 1" at 100 as well. Im sure with handloads I can shrink the groups. Recoil is very manageable with the brake. I have a HEAVY scope on it, and it weighs 9lbs 6oz. Haven't tried to really stretch the legs on it yet to see how it shoots at longer ranges. Action is nice and smooth, stock feels nice and solid, it fits my shoulder/cheek real nice. Trigger is nice as well obviously.

I sighted it in with a box of cheap Sellier & Bellot ammo that I bought off a buddy and had 2/7 shots (not in a row, just 2 total that day) that the bolt was TIGHT to lift up and it wouldn't cycle back to eject without force. I actually had to take a rubber mallet and beat it open the 2nd time it happened to get the shell to eject. I quit using that ammo after it happened the 2nd time so i'm blaming the ammo on that. I finished sighting in with the Norma ammo and never had an issue with any of the other ammo i've put through it. Like I said its been accurate, feeds nice and it ejects nice with the Hornady and Norma ammo.

All in all, not a bad rifle for the price these are offered at imo.

Do you have any 28 noslers for sale still? Do you know what the twist rate of the barrel is?

I would like a threaded cap in titanium and spare mag when they arrive. Is there a list to get on for these or notified when they arrive? Thx Dennis
 
I have a Rocky Mountain in 6.5 PRC. I personally feel it is an amazing rifle. I've packed it into the mountains for two years now and it has been a great rifle. Accuracy wise I couldn't ask for a better rifle. I can maintain 1/4 moa all day with factory ammo. I honestly haven't even bothered reloading as I have found the need. I took an Alberta Bighorn with this rifle last year at 510 yards. Built quality is excellent, trigger is great as well.
