Superb Report on Hollow Point Ammo

This is the best produced test report I have ever seen. It involves many of the common defensive type pistol ammos available. The ammo was shot with short barrelled pistols (concealed carry type guns).

It must have taken several months to do this test and it cost a lot of money. The report was recently updated with more ammo test results.

Great tests. The most comprehensive I've ever seen.
They did it all with short barrels though, which make the tests more geared towards the ccw crowd.
Service length barrels like we're allowed in Canada will behave differently. Generally better more reliable expansion and a bit less penetration.
Also the used clear ballistics gel substitute which does not deliver consistent results with 10/. Ordnance gel.
